In a topsy turvy first quarter of 2021, WA-based independent media outlet Perth Is OK! has enjoyed steady growth, first hitting 1 million visitors/month on the website before ticking over 4 million user-generated #perthisok hashtags on Instagram.
These numbers are now translating into successful campaigns for some of the State’s largest organisations, including a recent collaboration with the peak regional tourism body for the South West of Western Australia, Australia’s South West.
Perth Is OK! was approached by the organisation to help create awareness with regards to their new South West Edge initiative, a 12-day road trip exploring the south west of WA from Perth down to Esperance and back up again.
Given the quality of content on offer and the already strong synergy between both parties, Perth Is OK! effectively opened up their platform for a two-week takeover that touched on all channels.
The end results speak for themselves, netting 2,000,000 impressions across Instagram, Facebook, EDM and the website.
