Perth Is OK! teams up with iconic WA brand RAC to create cross-platform campaign

Following on from their exclusive partnership with legacy Western Australian bank Bankwest, independent WA media outlet Perth Is OK! have teamed up with WA membership organisation RAC on their latest motorcycle insurance campaign.

 

2022 has seen different collaborations between Perth Is OK! and RAC across a range of member services, with a number of versatile campaigns.

Showcasing its ability as more than just an online media outlet, Perth Is OK!’s recent collaboration with RAC Motorcycle Insurance has been unveiled, with a multifaceted approach across long-form written content, social media driven-creative and finally long-form video across multiple platforms, including high production value video content to be used as part of RAC’s YouTube and social advertising.

Employing the talents of respected WA filmmaker Melle Branson AKA Till Death, Perth Is OK! produced two 15s videos that are fit for platform.

“To bring this RAC Motorcycle Insurance brief to life, I wanted to create a heartfelt montage that depicts a motorbike day trip to the Perth Hills by a real life father and son. Combining cinematic and POV YouTube style helmet cam footage, we captured moments of genuine connection and bonding as they spent quality time together,” says Branson.

“The backdrop to all of this showcases the richness of WA life – its landscapes, iconic locations, and the mateship between our two authentic characters to engage our audience and reinforce the RAC brand.”

The video which stars two actual RAC members, was recently produced alongside an on-going digital media sponsorship, including longform written and social media-amplified content for RAC.

And the proof is in the pudding: the ad creative is producing 3x higher click through rates and a significantly higher engagement than the benchmarked figures.
