Perth Is OK! deposits successful campaign with Bankwest with exclusive financial partnership

WA-based independent media outlet Perth Is OK! continues to deliver strong results with clients at the conclusion of their latest campaign with Bankwest.

Bankwest partnered up with Perth Is OK! to bring their ‘Maximise Pleasure While Minimising Banking Pain’ content pillar to life across Perth Is OK!’s various channels.

Perth Is OK!’s creative team crafted a campaign with six contextually relevant long-form articles that fit comfortably within Perth Is OK!’s regular content output, which were then amplified via social media and bolstered with a targeted website display campaign.

Through a combination of perfectly-curated, organic-feeling content that provided actual benefit to the reader (see below), highly-targeted social media campaigns and simple CTAs to drive uptake, the end result was the highest amount of web impressions for a campaign to date at almost 25,000 per article.

This to go with 1.2 million social impressions and almost 45,000 engagements across Facebook and Instagram.

In a show of good faith, client trust and big business supporting the little guy, this campaign has now led to Perth Is OK! entering an agreement with Bankwest to make the bank their exclusive financial institution partner for the 2021/22.

Troy Mutton, Perth Is OK! Editor, said: “Collaborating with Bankwest on this campaign has been awesome – they’ve been super easy to work with and put a lot of trust in us when it comes to understanding our audience and what will produce the best outcomes content-wise.

“The end results speak for themselves, with content that not only helps create awareness around Bankwest’s Maximise + Minimise campaign, but comfortably sits on our site as relevant and useful content for the Perth Is OK! readers.”
