Noel Quick named SCA WA Head of Sales covering metro and regional radio networks

With this week’s switch of Southern Cross Austereo’s eight Redwave Media WA radio stations over to the Triple M and Hit brands, SCA has also announced a revised sales structure.

SCA is moving to a new state-based structure allowing senior sales leaders to focus on clients and their needs, in both metro and regional markets in each state. In WA, Noel Quick becomes Western Australia Head of Sales, in addition to his role of Head of Sales in Perth.

“I welcome this broader state-based responsibility to further build on our successful relationships with local clients and sales teams,” said Quick. “Now the Redwave re -brand has taken place, this will simplify the process for media buyers and clients who wish to invest in regional radio.”

Quick said in terms of advertising revenue, regional radio is significantly under indexed.

“37% of the total population – nine million people – reside in regional areas, but they receive only 10% of advertising dollars nationally.”

The new structure brings stations under Quick’s sales direction to a total of 34 regional radio stations plus SCA’s two Perth metro radio stations, mix94.5 and hit92.9.
