Anthologie appoints Josh Edge as ECD
Anthologie, Campaign Brief WA’s Digital Agency of the Year, has appointed Josh Edge as Executive Creative Director to work on elevating the profile of Anthologie’s award-winning creative impact projects. Edge will continue to have a role with his previous agency, taking up the Creative Chair position at Marketforce.
“This is another exciting step forward for Anthologie,” said Amy Sutton, Anthologie founder. “In working to scale the impact of incredible organisations both here and globally, we recognise the ongoing need for creativity and innovation in getting these important ideas into the hands, hearts and minds of those who need them most. What Josh brings is a way to connect our digital experience, co-design and impact work to great storytelling and bringing all those elements together to build reputation, growth and talkability.”
As well as being crowned WA’s Digital Agency of the Year, Anthologie also recently won an International Anthem Award for their impact collaboration with Walk Free.
The hire follows a series of highlights for Anthologie in recent months, including launching an international health report for Policy Cures Research with an immersive 360° film presentation, developed locally with Sam Price and What’s This? Studios, projected within the world-famous Syllepse event stage at the Jardin des Nations in Geneva.
“I’ve always had huge respect for Amy and the Anthologie crew,” said Edge. “Having spent time with the whole team working on the Policy Cures Research report and their other clients from worlds as diverse as social equity and neurological health, I really wanted to be a part of the impact work that was happening in this space.”
Edge will continue to maintain a Creative Chair position at Marketforce, his agency of the past few years, in a creative and client oversight role, alongside the leadership of Rikki Burns and Luke Williams. The team will continue to work together on key creative projects and strategic client services across the portfolio.

What?!
What?
👏
Cool that both agencies are happy to share a creative director. Why don’t we see more of this?
Strong hire. Great people.
This wouldn’t happen anywhere else. Hilarious!
Well done Dixie for signing off on this. Not sure why agencies can’t work together more like this.
There’s not enough jobs to go around. Don’t be selfish Josh!
The industry calls for innovation, then doesn’t understand it when it happens. We talk about brain drain and senior talent leaving agencies, without looking at alternative models. This is an exciting move, and Anthologie is doing something fresh in a pretty staid market.
Highly innovative for sure. Perhaps add in a third agency?
Hello all, I’m flattered by the commentary 😂. As ever, I’m very easy to grab for a coffee or a beer if anyone’s genuinely interested in what we’re doing and how to get involved. Much love x
Love your work Josh. Can’t wait to see more amazing work coming from Anthologie!
