Youth mental health the focus of YMCA WA’s latest short-film series via King Street

| | No Comments

YMCA WA, in partnership with Youth Focus, engaged King Street to develop a project for Mental Health week called ‘Inside Our Minds’.

This series of short films gave seven inspiring young people a platform to discuss their experience with mental health, and in the process, challenge the social stigma surrounding mental health issues.

The films, produced and directed by the King Street team utilising their in-house studio, were launched at an event at Yagan Square on Sunday the 6th of October. They were also screened throughout the week at Yagan Square, Northbridge Piazza, Curtin University, as part of the Roots TV Mental Health Film Festival, and on various social media channels.
