Dan Richardson, Yahoo!’s Director of Data & Insights (AUSEA) is heading to Perth next month to speak at The Future of Data for the Modern Marketer. The breakfast event, co-hosted by Yahoo! Australia and Bonfire Digital at QT Perth on the 2nd November 2023, will shed light on upcoming Australian Privacy Act reforms, the use of data for omnichannel media measurement and best practices for using customer data in modern marketing.
“We’re on the cusp of a new era where data is evolving from a nice-to-have to the most crucial tool for understanding human behavior and delivering value to consumers. Yet, it’s easier said than done!” Richardson says.
“Big Tech’s ongoing internet changes and evolving government privacy rules are reshaping what marketers can do with data. Yahoo is actively working with partners like Bonfire and the IAB to navigate these shifts, promote data literacy, and make privacy a core element of our approach”.
Richardson brings considerable experience in data, analytics and marketing to the event, holding leadership roles at the IAB Australia’s Data Council and the IAB New Zealand Standards and Measurement Council, as well as directorial positions at the International Advertising Association and a presidential role at IAA’s Young Professionals.
After his presentation, Richardson will be joined by Bonfire’s Head of Innovation, Sam Gabell, for a fireside conversation where attendees will hear about the future of data and get a chance to ask their own questions about data and marketing.
While tickets for the event have now sold out, those hoping to secure a last-minute ticket and receive updates about the event can sign up for the ticket waitlist on Eventbrite.
