Wildlings lands seven Finalists at the 2026 AGDA Design Awards
Independent agency Wildlings has picked up seven finalists at the 2026 AGDA Design Awards, with four projects recognised across brand identity, typography, point of sale, writing and Design for Good.
Otherside Brewing Co.’s Beer’d Oil received two finalist nods, recognised in Design for Good – Not-for-profit and Point of Sale.
Wildlings’ identity for Fred Building Co. was also recognised twice, shortlisted in both Logos, Trademarks and Symbols and Small Business within Brand and Identity.
The agency’s Perf Serif typeface design for the City of Perth was named a finalist in Design Crafts, while The Method, created for Perth Wildlife Hospital, earned two finalist places in Design for Good – Environmental Responsibility and Writing for Design – Design Results.
Wildlings Head of Design, Enrico Bettesworth, said: “It’s a really nice cross-section of what we want design at Wildlings to be. There isn’t one visual style or one type of project running through it. Beer’d Oil is weird, tactile and playful, Fred is deliberately hand-made, Perf Serif is all about typographic craft, and The Method shows what happens when a strong idea and design work together for something that matters.
“For me, the most satisfying part is seeing craft recognised across such different pieces of work. We’ve been building the design side of Wildlings pretty deliberately, so seven finalists across four very different projects is a great reflection of where the team is heading.”
Wildlings Designer, Remi Bodroghy, added: “What I love is how different all four projects are. There’s room here to obsess over a typeface one day and build something much stranger the next. The common thread is that the idea comes first and then everyone really cares about getting the details right.
“To have that work recognised by AGDA is pretty special, particularly alongside so much great design from around Australia.”
The winners of the 2026 AGDA Design Awards will be announced at the Museum of Contemporary Art Australia in Sydney on 26 November.
