WAMA’s first breakfast of 2024 is March 14th – looking at the next era of privacy for marketers

The first WAMA breakfast of the year is Thursday 14th of March, with the panel discussing what privacy looks like for consumers and brands in the wake of numerous data breaches, as well as what businesses can do to prepare for new, tighter regulations.

WAMA Chair, Rene LeMerle, said: “Data is a critical conduit for marketing effectiveness, and the due diligence around data privacy is no longer the domain of just IT teams – it’s now our responsibility as marketers too.

“Given the negative impact on brands from privacy infringement is extremely hard to remedy, we feel it’s an invaluable conversation to have early on in the year.”
