WAMA tackles the topic of AI and everything it can (and can’t) do for marketers – June 15th

Next month, WAMA will host their second breakfast for the year, and explore the future of marketing in an AI led/assisted world.

The committee had this to say in terms of what to expect: “Our keynote and fireside chat are designed for forward-thinking marketers, creatives and innovators, eager to explore the opportunities that (generative) AI presents.

“Keynote speaker, Dr Kate Raynes-Goldie, Cultural Anthropologist & Human Connection Designer and Business News Tech & Innovation Columnist, will cover AI from a philosophical and human connection perspective, including the benefits, risks and applications. Our fireside chat with Josh Edge, PADC President & Marketforce Head of Creative, will then unpack how “play” with AI can inspire creativity and innovation in marketing.”

WAMA Chair, Rene Le Merle, said: “There’s little doubt that AI, and in particular generative AI, is the biggest technological wave to impact our industry since the advent of social media. And with it comes a raft of possibilities, opportunities and concerns, which we hope to unpack in this unique open discussion.”
