Well known and respected commercial voice over actor James Hagen passed away recently. Here John Ilian offers a dedication to a great talent.
He was not a name that might be widely known in advertising circles, but those of us who are passionate about radio would probably recall him as a consummate, brilliant commercial voice over actor. Marty Braine (Brainstorm) first introduced me to James many years ago. You could not just give James a direction and he’d follow it. He would embrace it and add both tremendous veritas and value to it. He’d take the most mundane script and give it life. Sadly missed. Condolences to his friends and family.
