Two weeks to deadline for entries in THE SEVEN WEST MEDIA ‘BEST IN THE WEST’ NEWSPAPER ADVERTISING CREATIVE COMPETITION: $65,000 worth of statewide press media to win
There’s two weeks to go for entries to our Best in The West press advertising competition – a great opportunity to do something creative and win your client a statewide press campaign for FREE.
Thanks to the generous sponsorship of Seven West Media WA, we’ve resurrected our creative exercise for newspaper advertising.
When our former ‘Caxton Creative Exercise’ ran from 2004 to 2012, it produced some of WA’s best ever press ads and was won by some of WA’s top creatives including Julia Elton-Bott (4 times!), Andrew Tinning, Murray Laird, Guy Howlett, Tom Wilson, Malcolm MacLean, Ross Dungey, Paul Coghlan, Drew Ridley and Neil Martin.

The objective is to come up with a great ad that (hopefully) wins awards for you and your agency and gives your clients’ businesses a boost just when they need it most.
SWM will run the winning ad as a full page in The West Australian, The Sunday Times, Community Newspapers and West Regionals.* All up that’s $65,000 worth of state-wide coverage that will be seen by over 400,000 print readers.
There will also be a special trophy for the winning creatives.
Entries should be emailed to Campaign Brief by 4.00pm Friday, July 24 – two weeks time.
