Triple M rocks the Perth footy crowd at mix94.5’s AFL 2020 season launch

Mix94.5 launched the AFL 2020 season in The Locker Room at Optus Stadium on Tuesday, showcasing the best footy commentary in the country to Perth media agencies and SCA clients and partners.

Triple M Footy’s James Brayshaw and Brian Taylor (from right) flew in from Melbourne to join a panel with the Perth commentary team, including (from left) Lachy Reid, Andrew Embley and Dennis Cometti.

Celebrating five years of Triple M footy on mix94.5, SCA Perth Sales Director Noel Quick said: “Triple M Footy gives brands access to a high-profile call team endorsing our clients products and business in an entertaining way that delivers significant cut through to a passionate audience.”

The panel discussion centred around the upcoming season and featured what mix94.5’s listeners know and love about Triple M Footy, with banter between Brayshaw and Taylor, tall tales and ribbing each other the order of the night.

All were in agreement that the West Coast Eagles will be the team to beat this year with the key being new recruit Tim Kelly, who was in attendance and announced as mix94.5’s official Eagles correspondent throughout the 2020 AFL season.

Mix94.5’s broadcast of the 2020 AFL season kicks off on Saturday March 21, with Fremantle taking on Essendon at Marvel Stadium.
