Tonic Digital lends a hand to support animal charity Dogs’ Refuge Home in Shenton Park

The dogs at the Dogs’ Refuge Home in Shenton Park are benefiting from Tonic Digital’s digital expertise.

The refuge is being supported on a pro bono basis by digital marketing group Tonic Digital, which is helping the charity by providing free Google advertising services.

Over the last six months, this has seen a substantial increase in website traffic, audience engagement and adoption enquiries.

President of the Home Karen Rhodes said the animal charity welcomed the specialised support from Tonic Digital’s Founder and Director Brendan Collins, which she said was having a direct impact on the number of dogs and puppies being re-homed.

“We are always grateful for any help we receive from the community, whether it’s from our dedicated volunteers, donors, benefactors, or businesses like Tonic Digital,” says Rhodes.

“Every contribution counts, and we have been so impressed with the pro-bono support we’ve received from Brendan, it’s having a direct impact on awareness for our rescue and rehoming work, and is ultimately impacting on the number of queries we are receiving about the dogs and pups in our care.”

Brendan Collins, Director at Tonic Digital, said: “the company was happy to offer its specialised digital marketing skills to help The Dogs’ Refuge Home – Australia’s oldest animal charity.”

“As a team, we all love dogs and we really wanted to help. Offering our skills to help the home achieve its objectives is so rewarding and it’s our way of giving back to a charity that has given the Western Australian community so much joy over its long history, by matching dog lovers with their new, four-legged best friend.”

The Dogs’ Refuge Home is a registered charity that relies on community support to fund its operations. It has a pro-life policy and does not euthanise any healthy, re-homable animal in its care.
