The Monkeys leads the Australian pack at the finalist stage of The One Show 2024

The One Club for Creativity has today announced the global finalists for The One Show 2024, including 69 from Australia. The Monkeys leads the Australian pack with 15 finalists, followed by VML Australia with 12 finalists and M&C Saatchi with nine finalists.


The Monkeys has scored six finalists for Sydney Opera House ‘Play It Safe’, three for Macpac ‘Weather Anything’, two for Telstra ‘Hello Christmas’ and once for Victoria Bitter ‘England Bitter’, MLA ‘The Generation Gap’ and once with Amazon – XCM Internal Agency for Amazon ‘In Their Words’.

VML Australia with AIRBAG has scored all 12 finalists for Honest Eggs Co ‘FitChix’ and M&C Saatchi has scored all nine finalists for Minderoo Foundation ‘The Plastic Forecast’.

CHEP Network has scored five finalists, followed by TBWA Australia with four finalists. Clemenger BBDO Melbourne, Howatson+Company and Special + Dylan Alcott Foundation and Dentsu Creative ANZ have scored three finalists apiece, whilst Leo Burnett Australia, Ogilvy Australia, FINCH and Revolver have all scored two finalists apiece. Agencies with one finalist apiece include Bear Meets Eagle On Fire, HERO, Thinkerbell and Edelman Sydney.

APAC finalists by country and region are Australia with 69, Japan with 42, Singapore with 29, India with 28, mainland China with 25, Thailand with 19, New Zealand and South Korea with eight each, Taiwan-China with six, Hong Kong-SAR with four, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Philippines with three each, and Kazakhstan with one.

This year’s esteemed global jury selected a total of 1,794 finalists from 50 countries and regions. The complete searchable list of finalists for The One Show 2024 is available here.

Globally, FCB New York leads the world with 50 finalists, including 45 for “Dreamcaster” on behalf of AB InBev, Michelob ULTRA.  “Dreamcaster” is also the entry with the most finalist selections. 

All finalists will win Gold, Silver, or Bronze Pencils or Merits, to be announced on May 16 and celebrated at The One Show 2024 awards ceremony on May 17, 2024 at Cipriani Wall Street in New York during Creative Week.
