The iconic Mix94.5 Masters Milk Carton Regatta is back for 2023 – November 18th

Iconic Western Australia event the Mix94.5 Masters Milk Carton Regatta will once again see teams competing on Saturday 18th November at Hillary’s Boat Harbour. The nostalgic social calendar favourite is sure to entice old and new fans alike with FREE carnival rides, face painting, a petting zoo for the kids, Masters milk sampling, the famous Masters Cows, giveaways and of course… racing! Plus, Pete & Kymba will be broadcasting live!

As always, competing teams will need to build their vessels made entirely of Masters milk cartons, to then race for the chance to win some serious prize money and the ultimate bragging rights as the newest Mix94.5 Masters Milk Carton Regatta champion!

“The joy of living in Perth is that the community always bands together to make events come alive. The Mix94.5 Masters Milk Carton Regatta is all about families, friends and fun, and I’m thrilled we can share the nostalgia of our Perth childhoods!” said Mix94.5 Breakfast host, Kymba Cahill.

In 2023 there will be three competitive races, plus Pete & Kymba will launch their own boat, with the help of the Subiaco Community Men’s Shed.

On what to expect of this year’s festivities, Mix94.5 Breakfast host, Pete Curulli, excitedly explained: “There’s so much to love about this event every year; the community coming together, the nostalgia, seeing the ‘wows’ from the kids as they check out all the boat builds, but most of all I can’t wait to see all the people lining the shores of Hillary’s for the races, that’s where it all comes alive. The horn goes off and the cheers from the crowd go up as the racers take off, only for their boats to fall apart seconds later – it’s utter chaos and so much fun!”

There is massive cash up for grabs for all teams that enter, plus the people of Perth can also vote for their favourite Masters milk carton boat design to win $500!
$5,000 – Best Design First Place
$3,000 – Best Design Runner Up
$2,000 – Best Design Third Place

The winner of each race, based on speed, will also score $1,000!
