Emma Bishop, Senior Media Technologist at The Brand Agency, is one of only forty emerging leaders to be hand picked to take part in Yahoo’s renowned talent building program, the Yahoo Academy.
In its ninth year, the academy is the longest running industry talent building initiative in the country. The 2022 cohort features talent from agencies as well as brand marketers, who will receive exclusive opportunities to build their personal and professional brand. The class of 2022 will undergo unique brand building workshops, mentoring, industry networking and a live pitch-off event. Winners of the pitch-off will be awarded a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Advertising Week New York this September.
Bishop said: “I’m absolutely thrilled to have been selected out of so many candidates for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. I am proud to be representing both The Brand Agency and WA over in Sydney amongst a cohort of emerging leaders across Australia and New Zealand, and I am most looking forward to professionally developing myself further, and sharing my learnings with the rest of the Brand team afterwards. Here’s to hoping that I can score that trip to Ad Week!”
Angela Naaykens, Head of Media and Analytics, The Brand Agency, said: “Emma has played a pivotal role in evolving our Media Technology offering, especially over recent months with increasing client demand for SEO and analytics services. She continues to lean into the Group M network to ensure our Perth based clients are accessing global level solutions. I’m incredibly proud that she’ll be representing us, as I’m sure she’ll come back with even more fantastic ideas to share with our team”.
