The Brand Agency has partnered with Far East Consortium and The Ritz-Carlton, Perth to help name and brand their food and beverage venues.
The five-star hotel located in Elizabeth Quay features two new food and beverage venues: Hearth Restaurant and Lounge, and the level-five rooftop bar, Songbird.
Through extensive research, site visits and interviews with architects, archaeologists and interior designers, The Brand Agency developed the brand positioning, names and visual identities for the venues, which in turn acted as an innovation platform for the menu and Executive Chef, Jed Gerrard.
The venues reflect the premium quality of the brand and showcases the very best of Western Australian produce and culture.
“Hearth has been created to stir a warm sense of nostalgia,” said Emily Colman, Lead Strategist at The Brand Agency. “With the hearth’s fire radiating from the heart of the restaurant, we tried to capture the delicious scents, exquisite homely dishes, and the warm atmosphere in our design and strategy.”
Songbird takes a more playful approach, portraying iconic Western Australian stories through these lively, intelligent, and striking birds. From the Lemon-bellied Flycatcher to the Kimberley Honeyeater, their unique characteristics and personalities embody the freedom and spirit of Songbird.
The venue offers uninterrupted and expansive views over Elizabeth Quay and the Swan River with the design visually expressing the city’s famous skies. It highlights the playful and airy atmosphere of the poolside venue. The overarching brand platform aims to deliver a truly unique dining experience that transports guests to all four corners of Western Australia.
