Stir Fry Content Kitchen serves up powerful campaign for Minderoo Foundation

Stir Fry was approached to create a television and online campaign for the Minderoo Foundation’s Eliminate Cancer Initiative.

The campaign is designed to garner public and political support for proposed legislative change in Tasmania to raise the legal purchasing age of tobacco to 21.

The campaign features Jason Trewin, a 52 year old man from Perth who had lung cancer caused by smoking from the young age of 14. Jason’s passionate plea is for politicians to help make it harder for people to start smoking in their teens, or “we’re just going to kill our kids”.  He believed passionately in the need to prevent kids from following the same path into smoking that he did and shared his story openly and honestly to make it known how devastating and addictive cigarettes are.

Watch the TVC.

Stir Fry Production Lead, Anouk Ratnawibhushana, said that it was a great honour to be able to help Jason and Minderoo get this vital message on screen in such a powerful way.

Stir Fry is the newly launched video content and TV production division of Gatecrasher.
