shEqual launches new survey to explore attitudes to gender equality in adland

Today shEqual – Australia’s movement for advertising equality – is launching the shEqual Survey to explore attitudes to gender equality in the Australian advertising industry.

The shEqual Survey goes live today and will be open for two weeks until 2 November 2021.

Says Dianne Hill, CEO of Women’s Health Victoria: “We want to know what motivates you as adland professionals and what might stop you from engaging with gender equality. We also want to know what actions you want to see to promote gender equality in advertising, and who should be taking responsibility to drive and implement these actions.”

The data and insights gained from the survey will be shared publicly to inform gender equality actions and initiatives across the advertising industry in Australia.

If you work in adland then shEqual wants to hear from you, click here to take the survey.

The survey is anonymous and takes 10 minutes to complete. In addition to multiple choice answers, you have the opportunity to share what matters to you in your own words.

shEqual is an initiative of Women’s Health Victoria and is supported by Respect Victoria and the Victorian Government.
