SHARPER PENCIL LAUNCHES NEW WEBSITE WITH ‘DISGUSTINGLY USEFUL’ FREE COMMUNICATION GUIDES

Long time Creative Director John Ilian has launched a new website for his Sharper Pencil Marketing Communications with a series of free guides.

Ilian said they are essentially ‘how to’ guides across a variety of media – Video, Press, Radio, Out of Home etc, plus other useful collateral including How to Manage and Evaluate Risk, a Writing Style Guide [‘One thought: One sentence’] and how to deal with Parity.

They vary in length up to a comprehensive Writing Guide of 28 pages.

By way of introduction, Ilian says on the site : “SPMC does not claim to be the oracle of the knowledge contained in each. Nor does SPMC claim that the veracity of the opinions expressed cannot be challenged.”

The new site also has a range of free blogs – largely opinion pieces which Ilian has collected or written that he “encourages you to read, download, or steal according to your whim.”

You can also view Ilian’s folio, which contains examples of some of the work in which he has been involved during his thirty-plus years in the business.
