Sam Enshaw joins Match & Wood as national strategy director from Initiative

Following new business growth, independent media agency Match & Wood has appointed former Initiative strategy director Sam Enshaw as its first national strategy director working across its Melbourne and Perth offices.

Enshaw joins from Initiative Melbourne where he won multiple Festival of Media Asia and Festival of Media Global awards for Swinburne University’s ‘Swintopia’ campaign. Prior to Initiative he was regional implementation director at IPG Mediabrands in Singapore, assisting clients including Johnson & Johnson, Netflix and Spotify. He has also worked at Carat, McCann and UM.

Enshaw will lead the strategy offering across both offices, working on key clients in the education, energy, health insurance, finance and technology sectors.

Match & Wood managing director, Lyndelle O’Keefe, said: “Sam is an award winning strategist who has worked with major brands both in Australia and across the region. He’s a great talent who will further enhance our core strategic capabilities, at a time when we are experiencing new and organic business growth. I’m delighted to welcome him to the team.”

Enshaw said: “I’ve long been a fan of what Lyndelle and Chris [O’Keefe, chief operating officer] have built at Match & Wood. They have developed strong teams across both Melbourne and Perth and continue to secure work with leading organisations across the country. I’m looking forward to contributing to the agency’s continued success.”

His appointment comes during a significant period of growth for the agency which has seen 13 new hires this year, including former Reprise and IPG executive, Stuart MacDougall, in the newly created role of national performance director; former The Brand Agency planner/buyer Jodie Allen joining as communications advisor, Keleigh Moore joining as communications manager, and Alice McAuliffe, Cameron Ho, Jordan Filippin, and Chloe Moore joining as executives in the Perth office.
