Revelation Perth International Film Festival calls for entries

The Revelation Perth International Film Festival is seeking films of all forms, all durations, all subjects and all nationalities for inclusion in their 2023 programme.

Submissions are now open via FilmFreeway.com and close on 1 April 2023.

Festival Director Richard Sowada, said: “The wheels are turning for Rev 2023, and we can’t wait to explore the world of international cinema through our international call for entries.”

“We’re compressing the dates for 2023 but not the number of films and we’re straining at the leash to get stuck into these new local, national and international works.”

Revelation ’23 will run from July 12 – 16 at Luna Cinemas Leederville and Luna on SX, Fremantle.

Championing the best boundary pushing independent cinema from across the globe and around the corner since 1997, the Revelation Perth International Film Festival continues to be Australia’s leading independent screen event; actively advocating for Australian screen culture and independent practice on an ethical agenda.

In addition to the Festival, the team behind Rev provide an online streaming platform with over 300 titles available 24/7 via RevStream, and produce XR:WA – the annual interactive VR, AR and gaming Conference and Expo 15 – 18 September at the Perth Cultural Centre as well the annual WA Screen Culture Awards – set for Sunday 4 December.

Revelation is supported by the Australian and West Australian governments through Screenwest, Lotterywest, Screen Australia and the City of Vincent.
