Rebecca Di Pardo and Bradley Scott lead the next chapter of Youngbloods WA as Simon Mullins and Hayden Garrard step down
Rebecca Di Pardo (middle right) and Bradley Scott (middle left) have been appointed as the new co-chairs for Youngbloods WA. This ends the tenure of Simon Mullins (far left) and Hayden Garrard (far right), who have both held the co-chair positions for over two years.
Di Pardo, fresh off her Supernova win at the 2024 Campaign Brief Awards, takes on the role after being on the committee for 1.5 years.
Di Pardo said: “I’m incredibly excited to step into this role alongside Brad and build on the impactful work Simon and Hayden have contributed to Youngbloods WA over the years. Youngbloods WA has always been about creating opportunities for emerging talent, and I’m passionate about continuing and building on that legacy alongside Brad and this talented team.”
Scott also steps up to the co-chair position after 1.5 years on the committee. This comes after multiple noteworthy appearances at industry events, including being a panellist at the recent WAMA Strategy breakfast. Scott said, “A changing of the guard is always an emotional period, but Simon and Hayden are great friends of mine that I know will continue to contribute to the WA advertising community. If you’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting Bec, you’ll know that she’s both an absolute gun and a master at making you feel seen and heard. The individuals currently sitting on the committee are all amazingly talented people, and together with Bec, I couldn’t be more excited for what’s next.”
Mullins said: “It’s been a wild, rewarding, unforgettable ride, but all good things must come to an end. The energy Bec and Brad have brought to the committee has been incredible, and I know they’ll do great things. Watch this space.”
Garrard said: “Youngbloods creates a space for like-minded young professionals to band together for the greater good of our industry. The enthusiasm, commitment, and proactiveness of the committee have been inspiring, and while Simon and I were at the helm, none of the great work that was achieved would have been possible without the support and passion from everyone else behind the scenes. It is exciting to be passing the reins over to Bec and Brad, who are already brimming with ideas to further the positive impact Youngbloods has in the local WA industry.”
The wider committee features several talented industry professionals, including:
– Alex Rose, Rare
– Rebekah Vinicombe, Trilogy Marketing & Advertising
– Caitlyn Donnelly, VML
– Cathal Mongey, Juicebox
– Jack Connell, Sandbox Productions
– Jack Gilmour, Sandbox Productions
– Jeremy Gryguc, The Brand Agency
– Lara Hudson, Southern Cross Austereo
– Leo Mazzella, OMD WA
– Steph Travaglini, Moonsail
The committee has been dedicated over the past year, driving several popular events, including the Wellness Brief, Mentor Evening, and annual Quiz Night, all of which have strengthened connections within the local advertising industry. There is strong enthusiasm to wrap up the year on a high note, so be sure to keep an eye out for the final events on the calendar.
In the coming months, Youngbloods WA will be expanding the team with specialised roles, bringing in new talent to help shape the future of the committee. Interested individuals should keep an eye on socials and Campaign Brief for recruitment details.

Does anyone else think this photo looks like a Pokémon evolution (in reverse)?

Congrats to all involved on your contributions to the industry, both psychic and fire.
Two smart cookies with heaps to offer the industry, and case studies in how to make an impact beyond the day-to-day. You’ll both smash it!
