Rare and Cooch appointed by Transperth

Following a competitive tender process, Rare has been appointed by Transperth for strategy, creative, social media and content services.

Executive Creative Director Brett Wheeler noted the account is highly sought after within the industry, given the creative potential it presents and the high visibility of Transperth’s communications across a network delivering over 141 million passenger trips last year.

“Transperth has always been a client that sees value in impactful creative work that achieves results, and we’re thrilled by the opportunities that will provide the Rare team.”

Rare GM, Growth and Innovation, Paul Clayton, said the chance to work with a dynamic client team was an exciting one.

“Transperth has some really innovative plans to further improve customer experience and encourage even more passengers to trial the network. We’re looking forward to supporting these new initiatives through data, technology and engaging creative and content.”

Cooch Creative has also been added to the panel for the Public Transport Authority, which includes Transperth.

Executive Creative Director Ron Samuel said his team was looking forward to renewing its association with a former long-standing client.

“We’re very happy to be working with PTA again. We’ve created some of our best work with their team in the past and we can’t wait to get stuck in to some new projects.”

“It’s a great way to finish what has been a very challenging year for everyone.”
