PADC’s launches first Commune of the year at Emergence Creative Festival

The Perth Advertising and Design Club’s first Commune of the year is set for tomorrow’s Emergence Creative Festival in Margaret River. The event will feature last year’s PADC Skulls ‘Photographer of the Year’, Mauro Palmieri, alongside local creatives and photographers Lauren Trickett, David Dare Parker and Scott Robinson.

Titled ‘Riding the Creative Rollercoaster: Navigating the Highs and Lows of Freelance Mastery’, the panel discussion will showcase their iconic work as well as discuss the challenges, opportunities, the highs and the lows of working solo in the creative industry.

“Being a part of the Emergence Creative Festival is a great opportunity in showcasing some of the Margaret River Region’s best creative talent. There is so much depth and creative potential within the region so it’s a great way of connecting the Club and its members to creatives down south,” says Co-president, Dan Agostino. “I think what Mat [Lewis] and the rest of the Emergence organising committee has achieved in bringing the festival together is nothing short of amazing.”

To coincide with this, Co-presidents Leigh Wood and Dan Agostino interviewed outgoing Club President, Josh Edge, as a part of the Club’s podcast series, PADCast. In the episode they chat about all things PADC, the Emergence Creative Festival, the ‘magic of problem solving’ and the relevance and value of the Club.
