OMD WA secures media planning and buying account for Cancer Council WA

OMD WA has been selected after a rigorous pitch process for Cancer Council WA’s media planning and buying account. The agency has been awarded the contract and will spearhead various campaigns, such as LiveLighter, Sun Smart, Make Smoking History, Alcohol. Think Again, Drug Aware, Think Mental Health, Strong Spirit Strong Mind, and Daffodil Day.

 

Cancer Council WA CEO, Ashley Reid, said they were looking forward to working with OMD.

“This successful bid reflects OMD’s understanding of Cancer Council WA,” says Reid.

“Our campaign portfolio has grown significantly over the last few years, so it’s vital each campaign gets a custom fit when it comes to media planning and buying, and we are confident OMD can deliver on that.”

This achievement further solidifies OMD WA’s successful run in 2023, during which they secured significant contracts, including media buying and planning for Perth Airport and the Fremantle Dockers. Additionally, they also obtained the SEO & SEM contract for Western Power and successfully handled the media campaign for the WALGA local elections.
