NOVA 93.7 opens its doors to clients + media to reveal the stations state-of-the-art renovation

NOVA 93.7 welcomed over 100 clients and media to celebrate their state-of-the-art renovation. Last Friday’s “Housewarming Party”, saw guests enjoy personalised tours of Nathan, Nat & Shaun’s brand new studio, which is a mirror image of Ricki, Tim & Joel’s high-tech studio in Sydney. Thankfully nobody pressed the wrong button and the station stayed on-air while the party spilled out onto the balconies and into the flash new kitchen.

 

DJ Gabz provided the tunes as drinks flowed from the pop-up Gin Bar and party goers grazed on charcuterie boards and fresh cooked paella. Visitors were clearly impressed by the renovation, which has demolished walls along the Hay Street side of the building to let natural light flood in to the open plan collaborative space.

This is the first major structural renovation the station has undergone since first gracing the airwaves 22 years ago in December, 2002. Back then the station tag line was “Sounds Different” and there was “never more than 2 ads in a row”.

NOVA Entertainment’s Commercial Director, Antonell Doyle, said: “We’re so grateful to all our clients that have helped build NOVA 93.7 over the years into the powerhouse it is today. The renovations look flash and the team is feeling energised about our next chapter. Audio is so hot right now!”

NOVA 93.7 has accumulated over 670,000 listeners, which is enough to fill Optus Stadium ten times over.
