The glamorous Sophie Monk from Nine’s Love Island Australia has made a surprise visit to Perth to meet local media and clients, as well as support Ronald McDonald House Charities WA – one of Nine Perth’s key charity partners.
On Friday, radio presenters, executives as well as partners and clients were invited to an intimate brunch with Monk at Nine’s HQ in the city where they met the popular personality and posed for photos.
Monk then transformed into Elsa, the character from the popular children’s movie Frozen, donning the tiara to visit the sick children and their families at Ronald McDonald House in Nedlands on Friday afternoon. She brought smiles to the faces of all who met her.
On Saturday night, Monk took to the stage to MC the annual RMHC WA Gala Ball at Crown Towers Grand Ballroom to help raise important funds for the charity. She herself added an immediate $20,000 to the overall tally, by auctioning off a live a cappella of her famous single Poison (from her days with the pop girl group, Bardot), with Barbagallo generously winning the bid.
