Nine to broadcast ECU student special on Sunday

Nine Perth continues to support the new generation of aspiring media professionals via its ongoing partnership with Edith Cowan University’s Post Graduate Diploma of Broadcasting.

Now in its seventh year, the collaboration provides students invaluable industry insight and hands-on experience in the world of broadcast and television. It also allows students the unique opportunity to showcase their work on free-to-air television with a select number of student-produced stories to feature in a 30-minute program “We Are WA” airing this Sunday, December 3 at 4.30pm on Channel 9 and 9Now.

The local special highlights unsung community groups across Western Australia, accomplishing notable achievements, proudly sharing their cultural heritage acknowledging what it means to be West Australian in 2023.

Last week, The Australian Financial Review (AFR) published its inaugural Best University Ranking, with ECU securing sixth position – the only Western Australian university to make the highly coveted Top 10.
