NINE PERTH INVITES THE COMMUNITY TO #SHAREYOURSUPPORT DURING COVID-19

Nine Perth has announced its #ShareYourSupport campaign – encouraging West Australians to send in personalised video messages of support to those in need during COVID-19 to be shared across the community through Nine News Perth, 6PR and WAtoday.

The coronavirus pandemic has impacted the nation in extraordinary ways, and during this unprecedented time of self-isolation and social distancing it is important to use video messaging to communicate and support one another, wherever we might be. Whether it’s a shout-out to a mate, well wishes to a loved one far away, warm regards to colleagues working from home or thanking those on the medical frontline, #ShareYourSupport is a simple yet effective way to engage, enlighten and inspire others during a difficult time.

Anyone and everyone is encouraged to send in their personalised 10-second support video via private Facebook message through the 9 News Perth, 6PR or WAtoday page.

Selfie videos are welcome and participants are asked to shoot their vision in landscape mode.

Every Friday commencing this week, Scherri-Lee Biggs will present a video compilation of messages during the weather on Nine News at 6.00pm, and Oliver Peterson will air additional messages during 6PR’s Perth Live from 3.00pm.

A selection of messages will also land on the WAtoday, 6PR and Nine News Perth Facebook pages for the community to’ ‘like’ and share.
