Network 10 celebrates another year of sponsoring the Rottnest Channel Swim

Network 10 were again a proud sponsor of Saturday’s South 31 Rottnest Channel Swim. Always an inspirational event, this year was no exception with picture perfect conditions and plenty of records for the taking.

It’s no easy task to swim 19.7 km from Cottesloe Beach to Rottnest Island and thousands of swimmers did exactly that. 10’s Bondi Rescue team with lifeguards Bruce Hopkins, Andrew Reid and Harrison Reid were back after a three-year hiatus and excited to be in the west for this iconic event.

Spectators visited the Network 10 marquee on the island to try and win a Simmo’s ice-cream, pick up some goodies and pose for the perfect insta shot on our media wall. Post race, Network 10’s swim teams, staff and clients enjoyed a well deserved celebration with a picturesque view from The Mezz.

When not on the island, 10’s Bondi Rescue lifeguards were busy chatting to media and fans and also popped into Radio Lollipop with Nickelodeon’s SpongeBob Squarepants for a fun afternoon on the airwaves at Perth’s Children’s Hospital.
