Moontide Distillery launches a gin & tonic fit for a queen via Trilogy
Moontide Distillery opened in July 2020, and appointed Trilogy Advertising and Marketing last year to help elevate their brand, and market their range of increasingly popular award-winning gins and spirits.
One of these, Pride Tide Gin, was initially created to commemorate Broome Pride. However the strong demand for this tropical-themed gin saw it become a must-have staple in the range. There was only one problem with it – its 700mL bottle meant it was not easy to carry on-the-go or throw in a bag or esky.
Moontide Distillery’s owners, Trish and Andrew Davidson, therefore decided to create Pride Tide Gin & Tonic in a ready-to-drink, party-on-the-go can! While they undertook exacting trials to perfect the composition and taste, Trilogy concepted and created distinctive rainbow-hued packaging and developed the launch campaign and associated PR, Digital Video, Print and Social Media work.
A significant part of the strategy included launching Pride Tide Gin & Tonic at Sydney World Pride this year – a delightfully poignant connection with the gin’s original purpose. And who better to showcase it than Kween Kong, Rupaul’s Drag Race Down Under 2022 alumni.
“We knew that working with influencers would help propel this amazing product’s notoriety and provide us with some exciting content,” said Trilogy Account Director David Clarke, “and we were very happy to secure Kween Kong’s involvement. Moontide Distillery is a passionate supporter of not-for-profit Broome Pride Inc. and gives part proceeds from bottle and can sales to support LGBTQIA+ individuals in the Kimberley region. Trilogy is delighted to help Moontide Distillery now deservedly shine on the world stage.”
If you’d like to try the Spirit of Broome yourself Pride Tide Gin & Tonic cans are available online at www.moontidedistillery.com.au/ and at select bottle shops across Australia.
I know Trilogy love their gin and frankly so do I! Love this work and I look forward to giving it a go.
Buying this ASAP. How fab.
So fab. Love to see it.
Great to see smaller WA brands taking -fabulous- concepts to the rest of Australia and challenge the status quo. Well done Moontide!
