Perth-based MITP Agency is the only Australian Agency – and one of only 48 worldwide – to have been invited to join Facebook’s Spark AR Partner network.
Spark AR is a Facebook owned Augmented Reality software that allows creators to build AR filters and works which can then be published to Facebook and Instagram.
Speaking on the announcement, Alex Paioff, Co-founder and Managing Director said “One of our guiding principles is to always invest and test in new content technologies as soon as they are made available. This focus on the future has enabled us to stay in front of trends and deliver campaigns for thought leading brands. When our animator suggested upskilling in this area four years ago we encouraged it.”
Paioff said MITP Agency’s love of AR has only grown since beta-testing on Instagram and participating in a hackathon or two.
“After years of playing around as the technology blossomed, we are proud to now regularly collaborate with a range of partners on branded AR projects, and have racked up almost 3 billion impressions for our work in the field, on Instagram alone.”

To ensure partners have the tools to bring their vision to life, Spark will provide everyone in their network with access to Facebook’s product teams and technical support resources to help with projects, as well as invitations to test and try new Spark AR features and capabilities as they are developed.
