Merged AANA and ADMA rebrand as Marketing Association of Australia
The Australian Association of National Advertisers (AANA) and the Association for Data-Driven Marketing and Advertising (ADMA) have revealed the name of their newly merged industry body: the Marketing Association of Australia.
The announcement was made today at the AANA’s RESET 2026 conference in Sydney, which drew more than 600 attendees. The merger between AANA and ADMA was first confirmed in June, with the combined entity beginning operations from 1 July 2026 under AANA management.
Speaking to the RESET 2026 crowd, AANA (now Marketing Association of Australia) CEO Josh Faulks said: “This is not the end of AANA or ADMA. It is the evolution of two proud organisations into something even stronger, built to meet the moment our industry is in.
“This is much more than a new name. It is about delivering greater value for members: a stronger community, world-class capability building, and a more influential and powerful voice on the policy and regulatory issues shaping our industry.”
The Marketing Association of Australia is led by Faulks, previously CEO of AANA. The organisation represents a broad cross-section of the marketing industry, including brand-side marketers, agencies, media owners, platforms, publishers, and businesses operating across data, technology and customer experience.
