Match & Wood’s Alice McAuliffe and Ella-Jane Williams named finalists in MFA Awards

Alice McAuliffe and Ella-Jane Williams from Match & Wood have been named finalists in the NGEN category of the MFA Awards for 2021.

The MFA Awards program is run by the Media Federation of Australia, the national body for the media communications industry. More than 100 judges from agencies, client side and industry bodies reviewed and discussed a record number of entries to select finalists across the 16 categories.

The NGEN category is open to media personnel with less than 5 years industry experience, and entrants were asked to answer a brief for the Indigenous Literacy Foundation.

“The MFA NGEN Awards is a fantastic opportunity for young industry talent to stretch their strategic thinking and demonstrate their potential to become future leaders in the industry,” says Chris O’Keefe, Chief Operating Officer of Match & Wood and board member of the Media Federation of Australia. “I’m so proud of Alice and Ella for being recognised at a national level, it’s a foundational achievement so early in their careers.”

McAuliffe (pictured left) said the experience gave her great insight into the application of a complete strategic process from start to finish, with Williams (pictured right) adding: “The experience was both thought provoking and inspiring. While the response was created in a mock environment, the cultural and strategic lessons learnt from this experience have been invaluable.”

MFA Award winners will be announced in Sydney on 10th February 2022.
