Marissa McNish joins Seven West Media WA as Strategy and Insights Director

With more than two decades local and international media experience to her name, Marissa McNish’s appointment as Strategy and Insights Director is a major coup for SWM WA. A successful advertising leader, media strategist and communications professional, McNish has worked across major print and digital brands, in London and Australia.


“I am very excited to be joining the highly respected team at SWM to lead the Strategy and Insights department,” McNish said.

A proven track record of building and leading high-preforming advertising teams, McNish’s preceding role as News Corp Group Sales Director (WA) saw her successfully establish and run the Perth office.

McNish is no stranger to SWM, having lead a successful advertising team as Sections and Entertainment Manager for six years up to 2013.

McNish said: “I look forward to bringing my 21 years of media experience to this new role within SWM and working with the team to further develop the solutions we offer to clients and agencies.”

For the last two years, McNish has also served as a Board Director WA for UnLtd, a social purpose organisation connecting the media, marketing and creative industry with charities working with at-risk children and young people.
