Local media say “I do” to Nine’s highly anticipated launch of Married At First Sight

Last night, Nine Perth welcomed key local media to an exclusive long-table dinner party to preview the eleventh series of the hugely popular reality program Married At First Sight and to meet renowned Relationship Expert John Aiken as well as new local MAFS participant, Lauren.

 

40 guests, including radio presenters and producers from 96fm, Mix94.5, Triple M, Nova and HitWA, were the first in Perth to be offered a sneak peek of the highly anticipated episode one. Guests enjoyed a high-end three-course meal and variety of beverages, indicative of a true wedding reception, in the opulent private dining room at The State Buildings in the CBD, The Mark.

Following the screening, Aiken, who has been part of MAFS since series one, hosted a candid Q&A session with guests, answering an array of questions giving unique behind-the-scenes insight, highlighting why this series is always a must-watch.

Last year, Married at First Sight was crowned Perth’s highest-rating reality program in 2023, helping deliver Nine Perth its best ratings year on record since the start of OzTam Ratings 22 years ago. The new series of MAFS is set to be bigger than ever, premiering on Monday, January 29 at 7.30pm on Channel 9 & 9Now.
