Local crosses feature in Network 10’s coverage of the 2021 Melbourne Cup Carnival

Network 10’s coverage of the 2021 Melbourne Cup Carnival has included local and national live crosses from the best events in WA.

Penfolds Victoria Derby Day saw Horse Racing Presenter Brittany Taylor (pictured left) cross live from Ascot Racecourse to the national broadcast.

The fun continued on Lexus Melbourne Cup Day, with Taylor reporting live from Ascot and 10 News First Perth reporter Lee Steele (pictured right) live on location at Classique Crown Perth. With MC Rove McManus and Flick Palmateer (Australian Survivor, Brains v Brawn) appearing, the Race Week coverage was as fun and fashionable as it gets.

With another day of racing to come tomorrow for Paramount+ Stakes Day, 10’s racing horseracing coverage continues with the TABtouch Masters series live and free to WA viewers on 10 and 10 Play on demand.

Hosted by Network 10 Sports Reporter, Caty Price, and Brittany Taylor, 2021 marks the sixth edition of the prestigious TABtouch Masters.

Paul Townsend, Network 10 General Manager and Sales Director, Perth, said: “We are excited to team with Racing and Wagering WA to bring Perth viewers all the action from the iconic three race series.

“Network 10 is already home to the Melbourne Cup Carnival and proud West Australian’s Caty Price and Brittany Taylor will bring a unique blend of energy, experience and knowledge to this West Australian partnership as we continue to bring viewers all the thrill and excitement of horseracing live and free on 10 and 10 Play.”

It all begins with the Heineken 3 Railway Stakes Day on Saturday, 20 November, followed by Crown Perth Winterbottom Stakes Day on Saturday, 27 November and rounding off with the Drummond Golf Kingston Town Classic Day on Saturday, 4 December.
