Two of WA’s most beloved sporting associations have recently unified, with Athletics West now the governing body for athletics in WA.
Athletics West delivers a range of programs, educational initiatives and development opportunities throughout WA, creating positive opportunities for people across the State to get involved in the sport.
Following the decision in June 2020 bring the two sporting associations together, Athletics West appointed Anthologie to create a new visual identity, with the new logo launched in July.
“Having worked with the Athletics West team before in other capacities, we were thrilled to get together again to create something truly special to unify two amazing organisations,” said Anthologie Managing Director, Amy Sutton
The new Athletics West logo represents the joining of the two companies, incorporating elements of their heritage while moving the brand towards an exciting future.
“The Athletics West logo has become the symbol of a new era for athletics in Western Australia and we are pleased to have worked with the team at Anthologie to achieve such a professional and modern brand for the sport. Anthologie took our team along the creative journey and we could see our input in the final design,” said Vince Del Prete, Athletics West Chief Executive Officer.
