In a big coup for the Western Australian industry Kwpx&partners Perth has picked up a Bronze Statue in the Online Film category at LIA for Western Australian Police Union ‘Cop Enough’. CB can also reveal that the spot has also won a second Bronze Statue for casting in the Film Craft category, entered by Inhale Content’s Matt Pitcher. The news comes following the Winners and Finalists announcements today in the Non-Traditional, TV & Cinema, Online Film, Design and Package Design categories.

Bryan Dennis and Dav Tabeshfar, ECDs at KWPX&Partners, said: “Work like this doesn’t get made without really good client relationships so huge thank yous to our business management team, Carol-Ann, Tammy and Dru as well as our fearless partners at WA Police Union. Hugs and high-fives to our production partners Inhale Content, Cue Sound and Mauro Palmieri – and of course the resilient Gavin Cowie who spent 8 hours getting slapped in the face while we ate lollies on a couch.”

The TV & Cinema / Online Film jury was led by Marco Venturelli, Chief Creative Officer of Publicis France & CEO/CCO of Publicis Conseil, Paris. Only one other Australian agency won across the categories.

The Jury awarded an Online Film Grand LIA to Marcel, Paris for “WoMen’s Football”.

The Jury awarded 19 Online Film Statues including 1 Grand, 3 Gold, 7 Silver, and 8 Bronze Statues. They also awarded 5 Finalists.

Says Barbara Levy, president of LIA, said of this year’s body of work: “The power of ideas was clearly demonstrated across these categories. The best work found a creative solution to a problem. Communicating creatively is the best way to get your message to land and have impact.”
