Juicebox brings in Andy Davey to bolster their fast-developing strategic offer

Andy Davey has joined Juicebox as Director of Strategy following an impressive year of growth for the 40-strong agency following wins at the Australian Web Awards and securing a coveted place on the national panel for Coca-Cola Amatil.

Davey brings a wealth of experience to the agency with over 15 years of integrated planning and strategy experience in the UK and Australia, having led strategy projects for many of Australia’s and the world’s largest and most demanding brands. He joins from specialist experiential agency Gettin Hectic and brings with him a deep understanding of consumer behaviour through his ongoing PhD on the influence of ‘experience’ on consumer behaviour.

Davey said it was this coming together of experience and the progressive opportunities presented by the digital and tech world that really excited him.

“Since Covid hit we have witnessed an unprecedented acceleration of the world’s reliance on digital communication. Add to this the emergence of experience as the real battleground of brand differentiation and there feels like a massive opportunity here… and to be honest the progressive and restless energy about this place is hard to resist.”

Chris Nelson, Juicebox managing director, said that Davey’s arrival is strategically timed as the agency leans into its digital capabilities .

“Our clients are approaching us with much more sophisticated conversations about digital strategy and transformation and we’re looking to bolster our in-house team with an equally forward-thinking brand experience offering.”
