IN:WA announces Equilibrium as newest member: Clare Aindow and Ivona Gaspar join board

The longstanding digital agency, Equilibrium, is the latest addition to IN:WA, an advocacy group providing a united voice for West Australian owned businesses in the creative communications industry.

In less than 18 months, IN:WA has grown to be the largest member organisation in WA representing Western Australian creative communications businesses across the breadth of the industry. The group now comprises 11 entrepreneurial businesses engaged in gamut of communications including Advertising, Branding, Media, PR, digital and Production.

Warren Gibbs, Managing Director Equilibrium, said: “In a globally mobilised economy, our core challenge is to identify exceptional, locally-based talent across a broad spectrum of skills, expertise and experience. This will only be possible if Western Australia continues to support a business environment that nurtures, grows and prioritises the health, viability and independence of our own creative and digital industries.”

Clare Aindow (pictured left), Equilibrium’s Chief Financial Officer, will join the IN:WA board alongside Ivona Gaspar (pictured right), Juicebox’s Director of Operations. The two appointments replace outgoing board members Briannan Dean of Rhythm and Julia Watts of Clarity.

Natalie Jenkins, Chair of IN:WA, said: “We thank Briannan and Julia for their invaluable contributions to IN:WA and warmly welcome Clare and Ivona for this next chapter. The last 17 months has been huge, offering a much-needed forum for a breadth of WA creative businesses that encourages regular and constructive discussion on the shared issues facing our sector. As the adage goes, we’re stronger together – but I’d also argue more innovative, influential, and resilient, too.”

Businesses interested in IN:WA membership are invited to inquire at www.in-wa.com.au. IN:WA will be kicking off the year with its first panel event on March 15 – ‘Finding and Keeping Talent in the New World of Work’. Further details will be released soon.
