Innovation Nation premieres Sunday showcasing WA’s top innovators on Channel 9 and 9Now

Western Australia is home to some of the world’s top innovators, and their creative ideas and ingenious inventions will be showcased in a brand-new local series, Innovation Nation, premiering this Sunday on Channel 9 and 9Now.

This six-part series, founded and hosted by media personality Christina Morrissy and corporate finance expert Brad Hill, will explore the forefront of innovation across various industries, highlighting the triumphs of local trendsetters with their cutting-edge ideas and groundbreaking projects.

Morrissy said it’s a series like no other, with each one-hour episode offering a unique platform for aspiring WA innovators to capture the attention of future investors and consumers.

“The future is bright, and it’s being shaped right here in our own backyard. Through Innovation Nation, local innovators can tell their stories in a powerful forum and earn a connection with investors, the Australian population and beyond.”

Hill is looking forward to the program’s launch, saying: “Innovation is at the heart of improving the human condition, and it’s important for us to share stories of innovators, bringing them into the spotlight so they can receive the funding, support and recognition they deserve.”

Former WA TV and radio news presenter and print journalist, Deborah Kennedy will join Chrissy, Brad and the Innovation Nation team fronting several segments across the series, bringing her news reporting and presentation experience to the show.

“It’s been really interesting to learn just how much innovation is taking place in Western Australia – we’re certainly world leaders in many fields,” Kennedy said.

The series has already received immense support from local industries, including the State Government’s innovation sector, with Stephen Dawson MLC recently expressing enthusiasm about the collaboration.
