Ideology announces refreshed leadership team

Strategic consultancy, brand design and digital agency, Ideology, has unveiled a revamped leadership team.

Since the tragic passing of Ideology’s founder and Managing Director, Jaimie Ratten in 2022, Colin MacKay-Coghill has led the team.

The new team will be headed by Anthony Curnow, who previously steered Distl’s brand, design, and web team before joining Ideology in 2023.

Ideology Director, Phillipa Brine, said: “We are exceptionally grateful for Colin’s commitment and strong contribution that helped us to navigate a critical moment in the agency’s history, and we wish him well for his future endeavours.”

Curnow, formerly overseeing the delivery of Ideology’s strategic services, will step into the role of General Manager.

With over 25 years in Perth’s communications industry and a strong background in organisational strategy and brand communications, Anthony brings a wealth of experience to the table.

“Anthony has a track record of managing diverse teams over multiple role functions, and guiding businesses just like Ideology,” said Brine. “We look forward to charting the agency’s future under his stewardship.”

Supporting these changes sees Lana Abro, a seasoned agency leader with extensive experience in both advertising and marketing, elevate her position to Client Service Director. Industry veteran Grant Fuller continues as Head of Design, working with Graphic Designer, Juliana Falcão.

This leadership transition marks a new chapter for Ideology, building upon its 35-year legacy of delivering strategic guidance, branding, and design solutions to some of Australia’s most significant industries – a history which includes clients such as Perenti Group, IOOF, SRG and Emeco.
