GPT appoints Alischa Wunsch as Senior Marketing Manager for Karrinyup Shopping Centre

The GPT Group has announced the appointment of Alischa Wunsch as the Senior Marketing Manager for Karrinyup Shopping Centre in Perth, effective from 27 March 2023. The role will lead the marketing team and the development and implementation of the asset Marketing strategy to drive strong asset performance, maximise sales, traffic and market share through market leading marketing campaigns and communications.


Karrinyup is a super-regional shopping centre located in Perth’s north western suburbs, which recently underwent an $800 million redevelopment. Spanning 109,000 square metres, the centre is a leading retail destination in Western Australia, and is home to iconic retailers such as Sephora, Mecca, H&M, UNIQLO, Zara and more.

Wunsch has over 25 years of experience leading the marketing and communications strategies for iconic West Australian and Australian brands including The West Australian, Fairfax Media, Bankwest and as a marketing consultant and agency leader for the past 10 years working with major global and Australian brands including LWP Property Group, Alcoa, Hilton Hotels, Horizon Power, Perth Royal Show, REIWA, Black Swan Theatre Company, Racing & Wagering WA and Ronald McDonald Charities House.

After launching for Fairfax Media in 2008, she has been a leader in digital marketing strategy and digital transformation for the past 10 years and has specialised in assisting major corporate brands in aligning their traditional marketing and communications strategies with the demands of fast paced consumer facing digital channels.

GPT commenced management of Karrinyup Shopping Centre in September 2022 when UniSuper transferred it’s $2.8 billion direct real estate mandate from AMP Capital to The GPT Group.
