Good Times: PADC Skulls Showcase
On Friday WA’s creative community came together in the newly-reopened Hackett Hall at the WA Museum Boola Bardip. It was an awesome venue, and it was a perfect backdrop to celebrating the work that the PADC’s members have created in one of the wildest and toughest years in Perth ad history.
Rather than putting on an award show, the PADC this year took the opportunity, in an “unprecedented” (groan) year, to create a whole new event format, celebrating that despite everything 2020 has thrown at us, our industry continues to produce exceptional, effective work.
PADC President Josh Edge said: “In the 40th year of the Club, this isn’t the end of awards. We fully expect them to be back next year, including a lot of work from this year’s Showcase. But it was a chance to do something a bit different, to expand the role of what an industry night could be, and to bring everyone together for some good, old-fashioned social interaction.”

Thanks again to every individual, client, Committee member and agency who supported the PADC in 2020 either through the Communes, Showcase entries, membership or tickets on the night. It was so awesome to have most of the industry in one room, on one night, to celebrate and commiserate the year all together and I can’t wait to do it all again next year!
