Glide Agency bolsters team with the hires of Meredith Edwards, Sam Driessen and Kelly Lyons

Glide Agency has announced the arrival of three new team members who will play an integral role in driving the agency’s growth and success.

 

Meredith Edwards (pictured left), Glide’s new Growth Director, comes with a wealth of experience in business development, communications and media, including 11 years at Fairfax Media in Sydney, where she worked as a media sales specialist for one of Australia’s largest media organizations (The Sydney Morning Herald, The Age). Edwards has a passion for ‘authentic sales’ combined with a desire to unpick and understand business and marketing challenges of clients. The rapidly evolving space of digital marketing with a focus on transparent metrics attracted her to Glide, where she’s “enjoying the experience of working in a team with smart brains and small egos.”

Sam Driessen (pictured middle) joins Glide as Lead SEO Specialist, bringing another level of expertise to the agency, with a strong focus on the technical and web side of SEO. Driessen’s career began at Distl, where he rose to lead the SEO offering as the ‘Specialist Team Lead’. No stranger to working with e-commerce, startups and strong local brands, Driessen will be building a tailored SEO service focused on speed and ROI, with an integrated offering that spans design, development, content, data, and SEO.

“I am excited to work alongside a roster of talented upstarts punching above our weight, and I’m already impressed by Glide’s ability to scale the brands we work with,” says Driessen.

Back from 2 years in London, where she worked on big budget campaigns for Sephora, Soho House, Lick Paint, and Facegym, Kelly Lyons (pictured right) had barely stepped off the plane when she joined Glide as their Head of Creative. Lyons’ European experience with e-commerce and startups placed her in a perfect position to be the agency’s creative queen, but it’s her passion for clever content, her understanding of the digital space and her fresh approach to anything that truly made Lyons a stand-out. Lyons thrives off making something out of nothing, and is looking forward to making an impact on Australian brands.

Lyons said: “I am really inspired by the team at Glide. We have amazing specialists, so I know the creative I produce is in good hands to help grow and scale brands. I am constantly learning from those around me.”
