Perth commuters are relishing a unique spectacle in the city, with the Wallabies giant jersey installed at Nine Perth’s headquarters at the top of St Georges Terrace.

The giant jersey is on public display ahead of the Bledisloe Cup, where the Wallabies continue their Rugby Championship campaign against the All Blacks in the third and final test match this Sunday at Optus Stadium.

Classic Wallaby Matt Hodgson and current player Dane Haylett-Petty were also at Nine’s HQ this week to talk to the media about the game, as well as Australia’s Bid to host the Rugby World Cup 2027. 9News Perth’s Paddy Sweeney also spoke candidly with the players on the pitch in Nine Plaza.

This Sunday’s game marks the first time since 1996 that the Wallabies have faced the All Blacks on home soil in a daytime fixture. And the Perth crowd will be right behind them, with the game expected to be a sell-out.

Perth viewers can watch the game live this Sunday, September 5, from 1.30pm on Channel 9 and Stan Sport.
