WA stations pick up four awards at 2019 Australian Commercial Radio Awards

Western Australian stations have picked up four awards at the 2019 Australian Commercial Radio Awards (ACRAs) announced over the weekend.

 

Nova 93.7’s Garry Dean, Drew Barrett (pictured) and Magnus Newman won Best Station Produced Commercial, Campaign (Metro) for “Speeding Ads”.

Josh Robins, Nat Marshall and Ethan Kavanagh from SCA’s Hit Southwest, Bunbury won Best Station Produced Commercial, Single (Provincial) for “Apple Song”.

The station also won Best Multimedia Execution, Sales (Non Metro) for “Jesse & Juelz’ Busselton Jetty Swim” by Grant Fletcher, Jesse Watkins, Juelz Jarry, Simone Butland and Amy Collett.

RedFM won Best Music Special (Country) for “Alana and Robbie’s David Guetta Music Special” by Alana McLean and Robbie Klitzing.

It was announced last week that RedFM’s owner, Seven West Media, has struck a deal to sell its regional radio networks to Southern Cross Austereo for $28 million.
